Jaume Ninot was documented for the first time in relation to the work of the doors of the major altarpiece’s cabinet of La Seu Vella de Lleida. It is known that on 6 December 1361/1362 he received 5 sous as a paid for the hinges of the doors of the altarpiece’s cabinet, as well as 21 diners for the work of the doors and 4 diners as a paid for the junction of the doors (ARGILÉS, 1999). Some years later, he participates in the works of the major portal of the cloister and the West Gallery. His tasks are related to the assembly of the scaffolds for the arches of the cloister (ALONSO, 1976).
