Yesterday, 21 January 2015 the Book: Pintar fa mil anys. Els colors i l'ofici del pintor romànic was officially presented on the Museu Episcopal de Vic. The editors of the book, Manuel Castiñeiras (UAB-Magistri Cataloniae) and Judit Verdaguer (MEV-Magistri Cataloniae) took care of the presentation and Ignasi Fernández Terricabres (Vicedegà d'Estudiants de la UAB), Josep M. Riba (Director of the Museu Episcopal de Vic) and Joan Carles Marset (Chief of the Servei de Publicacions of the UAB) presided over the act.

The Association Amics de Besalú i del seu Comtat. Centre d'Estudis, in collaboration with the Museu Nacional de Catalunya (MNAC) and the MICINN' research project Artistas, patronos y público: Catalunya y el Mediterráneo. Siglos XI-XV. Magistri Cataloniae (HAR2011-23015), promotes an annual Romanesque Seminar, which hosts young scholars' research on medieval art history, giving them the opportunity and the ideal platform to present their first contribution to this discipline.
As a result, it has been published this number of the Síntesi' magazine. It includes the papers which were presented in 2012 (Ecos i objectes de Bizanci a Catalunya) and 2013 (Entre Orient i Occident: el culte a la creu a la Catalunya romànica) sessions of this Seminari de Romànic, which were coordinated by Manuel Castiñeiras (UAB) and Jordi Camps (MNAC). Its topic, which is mainly focused on the analysis of cultural interchanges between Catalonia and the Mediterranean, is widely related to one of the golds of Magistri Cataloniae research project: processes of creation and reception of images by the audience.

New Series of Conferences Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya-Magistri Cataloniae
The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and the research project Magistri Cataloniae are organising a new series of conferences entitled L'emergència del món profà en l'art medieval: Temes per un nou públic?. Some of the conferences will be held by Avital Heyman, Carles Sánchez and Cèsar Favà, researchers of our research project Magistri Cataloniae.

MASTER SEMINAR AVITAL HEYMAN
Dr. Avital Heyman, researcher of our research project MAGISTRI CATALONIAE, will give a seminar as part of the Master in "Anàlisi i Gestió del Patrimoni artístic" of the Departament d'Art i Musicologia of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

THE RESEARCH PROJECT MAGISTRI CATALONIAE HAS BEEN RECENTLY EXTENDED UNTIL THE END OF 2015.
The request to extend the execution period of the project "Artistes, patrons i públic: Catalunya i la Mediterrània (s.XI- XV)", has been recently approved by the Ministry of Economy and Competiteveness of the Spanish Gouvermment Therefore, the reserch project will finish on December 31, 2015.
During the next year, our Virtual Index of Artists will be completed. In addition, other formative activities (workshops) and publications related to the lines of research of our project will be held by our team.
